Just a little adlib farming
Good morning it’s me. We just shook ourselves loose to be in the shower by 6 am, but Sweetie got in there before us. I’m a little disorientated in that we got up a couple of hours ago to write and we’re just now getting to it. I seem to enjoy my time so much just putzing around the Internet especially over at Facebook. Today I talked to Angie another Marine Mom and I felt her joy in that she’d talked to her son. Can’t start a day better than that!I haven’t gotten a chance to talk to dear love this morning yet. I do have a hot cup of coffee and aspirations for the day. I can do something good right? I wrote yesterday about what I had done for the CIRCLES group … Hmm, maybe we’ll cut and paste to here.
OK ... little explanation here. I do groups and I decided to do one set this week (Four different groups) on sharing. Usually I find the stuff I'm interested in the groups are too with some alteration. So I created these sheets with the special help of TJ, Dana and Tammy. Well I sort of lifted a picture of their Farm work, but I thought each ... Read More
Then I explained what we were doing and repeated very often - our slowest group was today - that it was good to work on your own farm, but the person who wins is going to help out their neighbors - BE THE GOOD NEIGHBOR. Everybody got their own "green farm." So then, we had them cut out the smaller seeds, trees, and other farm elements after ... Read More

Wow, is that my farm? Very cool.

Yup, yup Tammy it's your baby! Thanks for being ok with me using it. I have to say you got a lot more people decorating YOUR farm than MY farm ... but we're trying to be the more sharingest person :)
As to how the exercise went - it was awesome. There were two clients I had to help cut the pieces, but even they were able to do the coloring and the sticking. The other 6 people I had today plus the first 2 were able to grasp the concept of sharing, but there were many reminders and examples set of sharing seeds, trees, etc. They all enjoyed ... Read More

wonderful!!
Ok, back again. It seems I did ok with putting up Tammy’s and TJ’s farm. I hope Dana was ok with it too. They sure are cool. I traded in my crops this morning and got a whopping 1200 some in my account. Well you know being one kind of shopper or another, I rushed out and bought 3 more trees. Yes that be the way this woman hangs Hehehe.
As to news yesterday the big thing was doing the group and I’ll do Group 1 today. I’m afraid that I have a couple hard clients in this next group who want to divert all the attention onto themselves. It will be a good exercise in sharing. I keep trying to get into them they are part of a community, but especially the one, puts his head down and feigns he’s sleeping every time the attention is turned away from him. I’m thinking his sense of self esteem is just very fragile so if you’re not talking directly to him, he hides, which though might simply be another, vie for attention.
It feels frustrating because it takes away from what we’re doing with the group. Though I’m guessing if we have this much problem in an hour, they are facing the consequences of being with him the rest of the two days he’s in. I’m thinking they are tired of the behavior too and we all would benefit if I could find more structure for his world beside staff attention. He doesn’t get along with his peers, because he thinks of himself as better, or more deserving then them. It’s really a shame when this happens.
Hmm, Out of the shower now, but I checked mail and that took a few moments. We’re going to need picking up our medicine on the way to work this morning, but at least we’ve got a way to pay for it. Rich paid his $600 for the month. WooHOO!
Did I mention that we’re still being elated over stuff going on over at Facebook? It seems that every day there is something in the mail saying that someone has connected in some way or another. It’s just the greatest application. I think that it is still relatively fresh in that the people we’re just connecting to now have ridden the front seats of the bus – at least in high school. It might be the same with the MP.com Moms. There are so many of us now preparing for their sons to be deployed. This morning we ran into another Mom whose son was going to Japan. I’m not sure if he’s going to be at Okinawa or Iwakuni though. Time will tell.
I suppose if I’m going to get medicine I should get going, but don’t feel like I said too much this morning. Maybe later, hmm?
