Sunday Morning

Good morning. Just me. We Just wanted to write a few notes for the day. After a writing out the notes yesterday on a liquid diet, I sent it off to lovey. He’s still at the point of giving us a hard time on the diet. He’s at about 290-300 pounds and under the illusion that if we could just eat better, but then we don’t eat better. Neither of us really snack bad, but we eat big quantities. Well, and then there is that problem with me and the fundraiser candy bars  I told him, but when I’m with my sons, they don’t eat two big helpings of Chinese, they only eat one plate. But, then Sweetie will say something else to defend our eating habits. We haven’t been helping each other. I so hope that we can help him and he will help us more with this new tool.

We crossed another bridge when he said that he would get the new groceries for a liquid diet. He usually gets the groceries, because I haven’t been able to walk more than 3-5 minutes. But, of late, we found we can drive one of those little car/cart things at the grocers and now I want to go with him. I’m not sure if he wants to give up his choice making for the two of us. Sometimes, but not always – sometimes he thinks it’s still more convenient to just stop on his own to pick up things. We’re telling him we want exactly what we listed, because those particular brands were told to us by our doctor as being the best, so we want to try those first. He says he can do it. So we gotta let him try … I think it’s him adjusting. This is a good thing.

We put on the list this time that we needed a couple new vitamins – the calcium citrate with Vitamin D and the sublingual B12. We’re not sure if he can find the right stuff, but if he’s going out for this task then he’s gotta do that part too – because it comes with the diet’s needs. I have the multi-vitamin with iron. I asked him does the Jewel have a drug store attached where I can drive to it with the internal cart, but he said it wouldn’t be open during the hours I could get to it.

I have the regular wheel chair in the Xbox, so that would be the next option. I couldn’t find the stuff in the amount of time I had to stand – with the casher part included – Just then we have to go through lifting twice in small amount of time.

Oh man … this is one of those reasons why it makes so much sense to be doing this surgery. This kinda life just doesn’t make sense!
