Ok sorta to work?
Good morning … this is us … we only have a few moments though because it’s already 7:30 am. and we are going to leave in about half hour. She wants us all there by 8:45 sharp … I know she starts with a couple of prayers in the chapel and then there will be a speaker and then by 11:30, we will be leaving for dinner. We will begoing to Connies, which is an Italian place that Sister favors.
It’ll be fine … we’re going to go with Sister in the van. We usually do, because we don’t like traveling around and parking in areas we are not familiar with. Plus, you get to hear all the gossip before and afterward, meaning most likely you are not as apt to be on the immediate talk about her list. Pshwoo. BUT, of course, if you messed up, Sister will tell you anyway. I’d rather have it straight at me than through the gossip.
I look forward to this day throughout the year, because sister is much more relaxed than she might normally be. Hmm, waiting for sir kitties second attempt at sitting down. Last time he was way to stretched out and his little paws were kicking back the keyboard. This time he’s not so aggressive or he knows I will put him back on the floor as well. Hmpf!
Other than Sir kitty, I do like this day. I have to admit that I like it more when Rich is there than when he isn’t. He can be a very reassuring figure. Usually at dinner … the DSPs sit down on one corner, the parents from their board on the other, and lately sister has been sitting in the middle with us, but she doesn’t like talking to us so much. We are both at odds. *Sigh*.
We’ll give it about 8 more minutes, but then we’ll have to get dressed. I know what I’m wearing so that should be easy … I’ve showered and taken my medicine … so it should be grab the keys and purse and be straight out the door. I can do this, right? I should try and make a trip to the post office, but I have to arrange to have a tape gun first … maybe if I could remember it would be a good idea to get that today … I think I’m going to need tell Rich about it and ask his help carrying the big boxes. But, its still going to be a bit waiting on the money to be returned. I don’t want to look, but we’re pretty sure we’re overdrawn again.
Oh man … the car payment hasn’t gone through yet. I’ve got to get a couple hundred in there from Rich. I better get that money out and get dressed now. BRB.
Ok, good … we got about 5 minutes to rest up. We’ll finish this entry after we get back. I think we should be back before therapy, but I’m not sure. If Sister allowed it it might be better to stay at work. We’ll get back to the center at about 2 pm and the therapy should be about 5:30. We got to look that up. We’ll see … better be prepared either way by bringing the shorts part of our day.
I’m not real happy with what I’m wearing, but I wanted to save the other shirt for Sunday and I wanted something darker on top. You know … Italian, linguini, Ann spills a lot. *Sigh* … ok, better get going smooooooooooooch!
