Would you like to look at 3 bedroom apartments for about $1600?

Sunday morning

Good morning … this is me. It’s now Sunday and we’re still a happy girl. No, we’re not getting to schedule the vacation yet, but maybe sometime … we’re not sure. He had said something about a vacation, but then we reminded him he didn’t say we could have one until 100 pounds. And, then we said that doesn’t sound like this summer and then we said we probably won’t do that in a couple months … and he said we’ll see. So. That left that pretty confusing. But, he pretty much said that we’ll have to wait and see.

There was something else that came in and complicated things. He said something about getting us into a new apartment and that we’d won out, we could get one together. So, after we came home last night and well after, you know, then well after that we started looking at what we could get. He was looking at a place that would be almost double the apartment we have now.

Monday morning

Ok, good morning again, except now it is Monday morning about 8 am. We’ve been up for about an hour and a half pretty much waking up with Sweetie pie. During the last part he talked more about what was happening in his schedule and work, but there was a long time period where he was just taking care of his emails. He says he had about 93 to start and he got it down to about 30 with his one minute management techniques. Good Rich.

I can’t say I put a lot of my own thought into it … just wanting to listen to him and where he is at. When I sit down with him, I think that I learn things about management of time. He always has stuff to be doing, but he does things fairly routine and that helps him get through it. Like he does personal for an hour, and then he switches to contracts, or calls, or evaluations, or whatever he needs to do next. In the plan he discusses how he’s going to schedule what all the way through summer and into the fall football season.

Ok. We have to focus next on something though pretty big that’s hitting us now. We need to look fairly squarely at where we are for school. I don’t think I can do it entirely directly now, but we need to see that. The point would be that we’re thinking that school is going to have to stop, because … we don’t seem to be doing it and that is a choice in a sense even if we don’t think we are thinking much of it at all. Ok, that being said … we’re going to try coming in at it a little more slowly.

There was other things that have been happening this week and over the weekend that need some going through too. I don’t remember a lot of last week, although there was this one part where Dr. Marvin and I were talking and he said that we might want to start recording are to-do like things in the journal like we had before. I took him up on that on Friday and we wrote down the things that were confusing our mind so much that we weren’t being able to think of anything. It has been confusing to us too, because we haven’t been able to write thoughts to here for a majority of the week. That means that we’re wondering around in space and not sure where the whole has gone. I think it took about 3 pages on our schedule to record most the things we could find that we had to do. I keep thinking we need to be more orderly. We’re trying not to think negatively on not being able to do school. We had found we could do it and were getting A’s when we were doing it, but there has been much to much time gone by where we haven’t been able to do any of it at all. Twice now we’ve completed a course only to get bogged down by not finishing the final paper.

Our time just isn’t in alignment with progressing things when we get under pressure. Having due dates is pressure. I don’t want to use CARF though entirely as an excuse although, we can know that it has been weighing heavily in our minds.

More of that later though when we’ve thought things out more progressively.
I think on the short-term order of things we need to recognize that we get side-tracked and when the whole scheme of things is through, we’re going to need being accountable for that kind of time. We had spent Friday night I think alone here … don’t remember except Rich was out … Oh, I know he came home at 10:30 pm that night and we’d fallen asleep and he said don’t get up after coming through the door, and we went right back to sleep. Saturday, we did something, but I’m not sure what … maybe I think we were doing something most the day with finding a place in Saugatuck where we could vacation around the time of my birthday. I was looking for a three night getaway that would cost just under $600 for lodging. What had seemed so common sense for me, wasn’t for sweetie pie. We found that out before really going out to dinner, which is what we did for Mothers’ Day. When we got back … well after some stuff, we were at the computer with him … Sweetie Pie was talking about getting another apartment and spending about $1600 per month on rent. We went through almost a couple of hours with him looking at stuff. But, then we picked up again that interest the next day and got a little thoroughly invested in that. When we had finished, we had come up with 7 places that we would like to consider moving if that is what we were going to do. I didn’t think at all of other things we could be doing with the same amount of money. We played the thoughts out entirely on the thought of an apartment like that.

These are what we found.
