Better get some reading done! SUPERBOWL tomorrow!!!

Hi you, its me again. We’re back. We’ve spent some more time at school. We had decided to check out how bad the first paper from last week was because we hadn’t remembered it, but figured if the 2nd paper had gone from a 69 to 100 and we hadn’t thought that paper as good (it lacked references), then how bad was the first paper she had scored 69. When we went back to the room, we couldn’t find our paper at all. We thought man did we get spacey and not turn it in after doing it? We thought maybe the teacher never saw the paper and had given it a 69 which would have been a D. 90-100 A, 80-90 B, and 70-80 C. We had been though very conscious of her closing down the room, so we’d saved all the papers we wrote so far including that one. We’d saved it to OneNote and it had included the format and reference OneNote automatically puts on things, so we KNOW we had put it in the room. So, bottom-line is that we sent the professor another copy of the report with that information – format and reference – and with ANY luck she will trust me enough to give me credit, because I really think the paper was of the same quality she’d been giving me for the other work she scored me for 100. That would make me feel super.

But, I can’t get stuck on just this point. Nobody has commented to any of our comments, but now there are 54 messages that I am going to want to go back and read … better do that now. BE RIGHT OVER HERE!

Pswhoo. It’s me … we’re back!!! I’m not quite sure for how long, but we have just finished reading up on the messages over at school. We commented most likely too many times, but there was some pretty cool stuff said, or stuff said by people who deserved commenting. I’m sure others will follow. It’ looks like most are done with the first unit, but the second unit is only about half way done. There wasn’t a lot of activity at school today though so I think people have kind of taken most the day off. I admire those who can get there work done with plenty of time to spare. For ourselves now, we are in the position of having to read. It’s already 6:30 pm. BUT, gloriously … it is still Saturday! WoooHOOO!!!

I think our teacher is around, but not making so many comments. She made three comments during the first part of the unit and then she made two days ago a summary of that unit, and now today she made one comment at 11, and that was it for the day … Again only about half the comments due on Thursday are in today late Saturday. I just shut down the classroom, because I don’t want to get obsessive about it … it’s enough I feel that to progress, we need to read every comment. I don’t know any better way to do it. EVEN, if we are behind reading and writing. It’s how we get our sense about us. I don’t think there are a whole lot of good writers in the course … I think I’m one of the better. Sometimes I think my papers are better than other times, but you never want to sound that sure! The professor didn’t get as far as responding to my two emails or my grades. She might wait until tomorrow to come back knowing that most likely tonight and tomorrow PRE-Super BOWL there might be more posts to read. Better check the time out now. Hmm, we’re under a bitterly cold arctic wind chill advisory from now until Tuesday morning – that can’t be too good. I should have left more gas in the car, but our friend said that rule applied more back in the older days when there was more water in the tanks. I hope so cuz I think we’re below an 1/8th. Hmm, CBS has Super Bowl today on from like 1 pm to 5 pm, and then it says kickoff at 5 and the game is at 5:30 pm central. It then says the game goes to about 9 pm and after that is the Mission Miami Post Game Show until 10:30 pm. Shoot … if you saw the game that’s like 3 ½ hours why do you need another 1 ½ hours to wrap things up?! One way or another … it’s going to be a busy evening. Maybe we can turn on the pregame show just in the background while we’re writing … the theory now is to indulge ourselves in reading for the rest of the night. I don’t remember when we had lunch, but I’m not real hungry tonight. Not too much to eat, but if my friend were here, I might tell him that we’re ordering out deep dish tomorrow for dinner! It’s going to be SUPERBOWL SUNDAY IN CHICAGO!!! WOOHOOO!!!!!

Besides, I know my friend is going to be at one of his best buddies and his best buddy is a pastry chef! So, I am under no mind to be thinking he’s going to be roughing it. HA!

Hmm, we’re still going to need taking some medicine before we jump into the next 42 pages. I think theoretically that might be about 4 hours of work, putting in the work time to 11 pm tonight. Not real sure if we’re up to staying up all those hours. BUT, we have drank late coffee and have nowhere else to go. THANK GOODNESS we’re single, or we wouldn’t get a thing done! Little worried about our medicine though. I think what we’ll do is warm up some oatmeal for dinner – will do stuff – and then we’ll start the reading. Sound like a plan? Then ideally, we would find easily an article or two for our papers tomorrow and by 5 pm, we would have written two papers. That means we get started early and work the day through … if we were to start late, say 9 am (because we’re up late tonight) that would mean 8 hours to do the work before the game. Ok, let’s get this posted and into the material. Even though at this point I feel I could write the papers without the book reading, I really am interested in doing it the right way. Hmm, I know maybe to make it more perfect we can skim through the study guide while doing oatmeal. OHHHHHH it just doesn’t get any better than this!
S’ya in the morning!
