Busy morning
Good morning … this is just me. We’ve been up for a bit, but am just getting to this point. We should be eating breakfast in a few minutes. It’s about 10 minutes to 6 am. We just filled up the coffee and got the dishwasher ready to start. I don’t know if I will be able to get this last bowl in … It’s pretty crowded in there. I know how smooch face is about getting alllll his bowls washed though … we’ll have to try again … maybe something can be arranged differently … we’ll see. Have to fill up some more water bottles too. There is no end of the household domestic duties *Sigh*Hmm, so how are we? Eh … ok … Missy just started meowing. She said move the coffee cup, because I’d like to come up and have you pet me. Hey, there is news on that front. I think Missy is FINALLY learning to lay on the left arm. This is very big news. This way … I’ll still be typing, but I can move my right hand to control the mouse too. Chief always sleeps to the right and usually Missy doesn’t change her ways for nothing. I think she’s a slower learner than Chief, so when she makes a change it’s a really big deal. It means when she’s up here she may be more settled. She’s done it 4 times now so, we consider her in the experimental phase so far so good. BUT, she is still arguing that we pet her more and she thinks we pet better the other way, where we think, umm Misssssy, we’re like typing now?! She says we all have to make adjustments. I don’t know … we’ll have to all work some more on this.
No big news this morning … cept Sister sent us a note congratulating us on the smoking. She told us though to take it one step at a time. Everybody is getting ready for our visitor this morning. He said no press, but the IL Speaker of the House is coming to the center today. Hmm, think we told you that already? Not sure … It’s a pretty big deal. I don’t know how he is going to feel with the signs and singing sister has arranged, but we’ll have to see … he’s on a tight schedule and he’s due there at 9 am this morning. Better not be late today. *Giggle* called sweetie pie. He’s on his way already. Good boy.
We’ll probably try to leave 15 minutes early, but we have to finish eating before we can shower. Like to do that in the next 7 minutes. Ack … too fast, too fast. Think we should wear different shoes today beside tennis? Hmm, that be like way out there … I think our compromise is to wear black tennis shoes with our fancier black dress, but they are out in the car. Maybe do that while the car is warming up … brrr, that’s going to be frosty. Sister will shoot me if we don’t put our hair up. She said something yesterday on the announcement of everybody dressing well including staff and clients. She said she shouldn’t have to remind us, but then here she was reminding us. It was kind of a shaming thing … so we’re trying to get over that.
Think quick think quick … ACK! 3 more minutes left. I don’t think I can finish that fast … need time to chew AND type at the same time. He is going to go by me twice … once in the multi-purpose room with all other 60 plus people and then toured back through the offices (he paid for three offices to be built alongside workshop and centeral air, and huge windows, and doors, and lights, etc). Yes, we made sure that our office was cleaned up before we left for Dr. M.’s
By the way … just leaving a marker there, but whole session spent with regressed parts trying to get past issue of walking into his office. Oh yeah and did some bill work this morning, specially getting some autopayments, and placing/registering name on do not give us stuff lists. YEEKS. Gotta go though … we’ll talk Later … coming up to SATURDAY!!!
