Just about ready for them to take me away

Hi, Just me. HOOOOOMMMMMME! What’s for dinner dear? Hmm, I think lasagna! Woo Hoo! Good stuff! For the same of confusion we eat a lot of box dinners. But, the lasagna is GREAT! Do the trick just right.

Today’s traffic was slow, but pretty because about 4-5 miles from home there was a small accident. But, the nice part was that even though most the speed was again no faster than 11 mph, the expressway was dry! The main streets were pretty good, and as always they save the side streets for last. There are so many cars parked on them that for the rest of the winter the actual parking will happen on the bumpy driven down snow. *Sigh* I KNOOOOW I can’t be the only one in this situation. For example, there are all those chair putter outer people who will fight for that one spot! And our Philly friend hasn’t checked in with HIS snow total. Officially, we had 9” last night.

Ahh … we side tracked to eat dinner mmmmmm… Sure warmed my tummy. Now for some of that pleasant after affect after the meal is over. Going to need facing a few things though. Maybe after the smoke we’ll take the medicine and think seriously about pj’s and bed! Yep, yep been that kind of day. It’s been a pretty long while since we thought of physical aches and pains, but its getting hard to think around. There is something wrong with left pinky. It’s swollen like and feels numb. Might just be acting up because childhood frost bite. Next, problem is that my back is twinging pain. Think that might have had something to do with pulling the cord on the snowblower for our co-worker. THOUGH, I might add, we got it started! YAYYY!

The last problem we’re going to complain about is our eyesight. Somethings going terribly wrong. I’ve realized I’ve had trouble seeing for a while now … We’ve been wearing glasses since the second grade. But, we haven’t been back to check eyesight for about ten years. Even with my glasses, I can’t read signs while driving unless I am right underneath them or next to them. That was the first real clue. We just limited our driving to places that we already know. Mostly here, to work, to doctor’s, and back. The new part is my night vision. It became obvious when we started driving home from work at night. We’ve been trying to get a perspective of it. Tonight we realized we couldn’t see the cars without their taillights past 3 or 4 cars. We can’t see the shapes of them, they just disappear into night. I couldn’t see the difference between the dark dirty snow and the road right in front of me, and last, it took so long to study the buildings the last mile of the drive home, I did not recognize my street to turn off, even though this is my 5th year in the building.

It never used to be like this. I’m thinking maybe between the diabetes and fatigue? I have to tell my friend tomorrow when I see him. He’ll help figure it out maybe now sooner than later. I think he was planning on getting me a visit and glasses for our Christmas present. He stopped by the Center for about 7-8 minutes this afternoon. It seems he’s broken one of the nosepieces on his glasses. Maybe we can go in together. Soon.

I am thinking I already have to take Tuesday off, because Dr. M. ordered a memory test for me on my request. They say it’s a lot of tests and it is going to take most of the day and I should bring a lunch. *Sigh* Just can you do walk-in eye appointments somewhere?

Ok, ok … enough of that. We’re starting to scare ourselves again. L

Ok, now we should be taking the medicine. Shoot, shoot … back, or more I should say the upper right hip. Shhhh, shhhh … that’s enough. Let’s let it go. Just teasing with the ambulance. We don't need an ambulance, we need BED REST!!!!!

Hey I know … how about we do an extra early bedtime tonight? Maybe we’ll miss V though? It’ll be ok… AHA! V’s here now!!!!! Ok, nighty-night!
