All in a what became a Remarkable Day

*Sigh* It’s pretty much bedtime now, but I want to finish uploading a song to go to bed by. J Maybe a little to remember my day with?

Not much as far as getting much done. I spent a lot of time trying to fix computers. First my computer was stuck, and then Sister’s computer. I’m still at ground zero with the first program. I think I accidentally held down a key too long … the right shift key. So now I have only caps or no caps, nothing in between. Then I can’t scroll down with my mouse, and umm one more think … what was it … oh, I know … I couldn’t highlight text without highlight a big block of it. I held down the key again hoping I could reverse it or get more directive as to where to go, but the screen and tabs there didn’t show anything useful. Any computer helperers out here??

Then, I was up at Sr.’s office watching the front because a couple of people were out. That’s ok … relaxation time. So, I checked doing whatever … and I got a call for Sr., but since she wasn’t at her desk and she WAS watching 40 people in the multi-purpose for lunch, I said fine … take a message. BUT, then she came back to the office after the client’s lunch. I gave her the message and got screamed at for not getting her to answer the phone. Sheeesh. Go figure. I’m really out of touch with answering phone calls. Hmpf.

So, then I left got my coat and went out for a smoke. Thought eh … she’s going to be in the office for a while and I’d gone 4 hours without. Then I thought, maybe I better go back to watching the phone. Maybe she wouldn’t be so crabby this time! She’d gone back to her private suite. So, I figured hmm. Another half hour. I might as well try to fix her computer through AOL Hell. YEEKS, that ended up being an ordeal! Three and a half hours later, I through in the towel for the day. Basically, the problem was she was getting stray code at the top of her Internet windows. And, when she checks aolnews, she can’t get the video player. I thought how hard can this be? After 3 AOL technicians … yes, I got the one that says just download AOL again. ARGH! The last one sent me over to Microsoft, and Microsoft bounced me over to Gateway faster than you can count to 10. Hehehe was a bum. I gave him the code on the front properties screen … he saw the letters oem or something terrible and said hurridly, no, no, no its not our problem then. LOL I wondered how I got to that tech so fast. He had an auto-ejector button straight over to the other. The Gateway guy was kinda nice though there were quite a few pauses. At that time I was thinking what the hell. My day is shot and I’m going no where fast. He gave me an idea that didn’t pan out, but it was a fix that needed to be tested out. He said, if that doesn’t work call back. You gotta know I’m going after him! Computer isn’t much more than 6 months old. Pretty sure its still under warranty. Though, those people are just as apt to say, “Put it in a box and ship it back!” They KNOOOOOOOW you don’t want that kind of hassle. I think that’s why they put serial codes in a difficult place to read it. Double Hmpf!

BUT, then something VERY wonderful happened. THE PACKAGE FINALLY GOT HERE!!!!

What package??? We ordered … get this … we ordered an official TS GROUPER PRINT!!!!! Oh, I told you that already … Just making sure you were paying attention. We brought the tube into the workshop where there are large butcher block tables and good lighting. One of the DSPs were there also wanting to talk shop. It was like DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND I HAVE HERE A TS GROUPER!!!!!

Well, maybe it came out that we were both dissatisfying to each other at that point. Let it go…..

It took me a half hour before I could leave my spot. Please believe me, when I say it is the most beauuuuutiful picture I ever bought! It’s hard to explain. First, it is a huge print … We think T cut us a deal and shipped a 30x24. Woooo HOOOO, She’s a beaut! It has the most deep, rich colors and it is just amazing. Around the groupers blurpy lips you can tell that a straight line (well as straight as blurpy lips can provide) was made. We are talking an edge of one color to the next. Shoot, I don’t know how to explain it. But, anyway, most the rest of the picture is like splashes of color sometimes maybe with a brush and sometimes something maybe else. I tried studying how she did it, but it simply blows your mind away. And, I was able to see the texture of the cinder block in back on the bottom where there were some lighter colors, but it becomes a natural depth trick if you will … makes it sooooo real! I went from one co-worker to the other and spent another half hour with the second. Kept repeating over and over again, this is MAGNIFICENT!!!!!! She put this gorgeous portrait on a wall??? Oh man, I’m jealous for the rain drops! It’s just that good! Every angle I turned the picture the fish seemed so gosh darn real. You have to see it to believe the hole he’s coming out of … like a rock formation covered with the wildest marine plant life … Wow INDESCRIBABLE it is so REAL … TREMENDOUSLY three-D!

Now, just for the record, I have to say, the grouper isn’t the most attractive fish in the pond! Hehehe T said she caught one once that was 57 pounds. We’re talking a VERY BIG fish! See that’s what made this purchase all so important. My friend is an avid fisherman and he just crossed into the artic circle from Canada last year and fishing for grouper was the BIG DEAL! Now, tell me folks what are the odds that a Grouper fisherpainter was going to cross my path naturally??? Just amazing. She even signed this whole long thing on the back … WOOO HOOO is he going to feel special. I don’t think he has any idea how good my new friend really, really is. But, believe me … He’s going to be very proud of that picture!

The only thing we’re sad about is that he is going to hang it down town at his regular office. I could see why now. 30 x 24 is a pretty good size. It will though go wonderful down in the bigger office. It just means that it might be many years before I get a chance to see it again. I am going to make him swear that he tells me every wonderful thing people say when they see the picture. Yep, yep, yep. That is going to be what I do!

T dear … now if you are around and happen to read this post, please imaging that I’m giving you the biggest gosh darn thank you hug I can imagine. Kept asking my friend, what kind of a mind must she have to see color and perspective like this? WONDERFUL! Just gosh darn wonderful! Thank you, thank you thank you T!!!!!!!!

So, very proud to know you!
