Kinda a zippy morning
Good morning, it’s me again. I keep coming back over and over again. It’s Sunday morning about 4:30 am. What could she possibly have to say after being here for so many pages yesterday. Dunno. Just know that it will come. As long as we’re thinking there will be something to write about. We’ve been up for a little bit … pretty much going over the pictures from yesterday. I think that our granddaughter is like us in front of the camera. Can’t get over 54 pictures. They were only here for about a half hour. She was brilliant!
I think she has my facial features, but definitely her mother’s eyes. Some of the pictures are so happy and curious, but on some of the pictures she’s got another look that’s more serious, maybe even some self-questioning or disapproval. For the most part she’s a very happy child. We’re still worried about that face that was watching the television so seriously. I know she also does the computer. She enjoyed playing on the PBS site as a break from the pictures. I don’t know when such things will become too easy for her, but for now they are great … as long as she is learning. Her mind is so quick.
Pshwoo. We’re back. We didn’t make it … we fell asleep for a couple more hours. Then we got up showered, dressed, took medicine, and packed a lunch. It’s now 7:07 and we’ve got until 7:30 am. We’re a little warm from all the activity. We need to rest … We’re a little worried about what we’re going to do if our knee starts hurting out there. We should get some of those ice packs you can activate by snapping or smacking them. But, I don’t think we have time to do all that. Plus we would have to get out of the car and walk through the store. It would probably help with the driving. I am glad that Joe is going to do a couple of hours with me.
That will save some stress. And, I suppose that we could stop at any pharmacy along the way. I’ll bring the Ace bandage just in case. I guess that will be our plan.
I could start a pack here, but then I’ve been finding that it gets messy and I don’t want to be walking around in wet shoes and socks. Hmm, probably a good idea to stop sooner than later, but then there is that money thing. And, we remembered that we were going to need to do tolls. I hope Joe can cover us if we’re short. Hmm, better put our hair up too … cuz we’ll be out for a while and it will be hot. Ok, got enough things to do now. Wish I could bring this music option. Ok, ok … let’s not go there … I think we’re ready … let’s go, hmm?
