Knocking out another morning

Good morning … This is me. This morning, we are up a little earlier, but its taken us 45 minutes to find the coffee. We’re always very good at fooling around on the computer first. You know news stories. It seems that we’re drawn to those that are particularly heinous that involved kids getting hurt. I feel most empathy for youngsters being treated badly. This morning there was a story of a toddler and a four year old found in bags under a kitchen sink, supposedly after having died in a hot car, and then another story of a woman accused of bilking the government out of millions of dollars from the adoption of 11 foster kids found starving and chained together in one of her homes … and one more day care story of a woman drugging infants and toddlers to make them more sleepy at nap time … WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE???

Sheese … I think it boils down to adults responsible for children who aren’t being responsible for children. There’s no doubt in my mind that children are fragile in the hands of evil “caretakers.” The story of the adoption woman stated that one of the kids was 18 years old and found in a daze wondering in a grocery store. They were all special needs kids. She didn’t even allow them to use the bathroom.

Having a hard time thinking. Might need to switch somehow.

Ok, we’re back … it’s 45 minutes later … 5:30 am. We’ve been out of it for a while. Thinking we may want to take a shower soon. I’m not sure if Sweetie Pie is getting up though … he said we could try to wake him up unless he wants another half hour … not sure. He didn’t come home until 8 just after we’d gone to bed tired from reading.

Hmm, we’re back. It’s 6 am now … and we’re out of the shower. Sweetie Pie didn’t get up … he said he had trouble sleeping. He propped the fan up on a chair, so I think he was too warm. He likes to sleep in a blanket, but the fan isn’t enough to keep him cool. Missy is telling me that we have to wake him up now, but we’re going to give him just another minute. My poor baby blue eyes.

Yesterday, we were going to go down to the beach with him after work, but his friend, Bob got sick. They are thinking its gall bladder stones. Rich went home to pick up his friend and take him to the emergency room. And then he waited with him for about 4 hours, until his friend said to go home. I think it was because he thought he could flirt better with the nurses. I don’t know about all that, but if he can get a date out of his stones, then all the power to him. I think though it’s a lot to go through, just for a couple stolen kisses. Hmpf!

Ok, ok … I know go wake up the man!

AHA! He’s up … we’re giving him 20 minutes with his computer until he says its time to make me lunch. That’s when I eat breakfast too. Shoot … Forgot to get dressed after the shower though. Been spending the last 20 minutes waking up our Mister.

Funny boy … he needs a lot of hugs and kisses you know!

He also said that his friend Bob called to say he’d probably be staying over night.
That’s pretty much a good idea, specially since Rich says he’s feeling a little out of sorts with being in this situation. I think that his daughter visited him, but that wouldn’t of helped him chase pretty nurses anyway. Hmm, seems I have nothing better to be thinking of. Better go get dressed … brb.

AHA! Someone is going to try sneaking into work with shorts on! It got through the Rich-machine … he said at least see what sister says. They are loose around the legs and just above the knees, so I don’t think it’s a big problem. And they are the darker blue jean … not something tie died or nuthin. We are also wearing our new pink plaid shirt and even though its long it isn’t as long as the shorts. We thought at first we were putting on our jean skirt, cuz we’d forgotten we’d gotten shorts, but it turns out the skirt is really at the laundry. Rich made a stop last night. It would be great if this works at least on the days we don’t have meetings, because that’s a whole nother outfit we can wear over this next month or two. We’ll see

Whoops gotta go!
