A Long Saturday of Just Getting Through the Day
There ya go! Good morning. I thought I would start off with a nice picture. We haven’t done that for awhile. Hard homto say which of the trio I like more, but it seems that the combination is striking. So, again … good morning, good morning.
Why am I in such a good mood? AHA! Could it have anything to do with being a Saturday morning, and a day in which we might see our Sweetie Pie??! Maybe, babe…
Hehe ok we’re being silly. Not even sure we’re going to stay up for more than 10 minutes. It’s for this fleeting moment all is good within the world, and that said, we do appreciate that option to crawl happily back in bed. BUT, I want to try and stay up, because I LIKE being up!
Darn … I went back to sleep … hate it when that happens … like one person says woo hoo up time and the next person says … umm I don’t think so … we’re going back to bed! Then we’re just gone.
There is good news though, because we’re up again. It’s about 7:10 am. We just finished IMing with our smoochie friend. That was a nice thing even though it was short. He is going to drop his daughter off at a party and then stop by here for a couple of hours. It won’t be until somewhere like 6-7 or possibly later. This is one of those rough schedule times. He was being real nice and he said at the end, “Thanks for being me.” Pswhoo that kinda stuff might keep us in a good place all day! We be the blessed one. *Sigh* Feels nice to be loved. :)
Ooooooooook … nuf of that silly face! Let’s be moving on with the day now. Let’s see what’s up? Last time we wrote, we were still at work saying good night because we were going home. The screens were sluggish, so we posted at home, and then we talked to Deb, and then we went to sleep … pretty exciting Friday, Hmmm? I know just a party animal. I think we stayed late at work like until 6:30 pm. And then we raced to the bank before it closed to deposit check, and then we stopped by to pick up gas. I don’t remember if we wrote it, but instead of being broke, yesterday we discovered we still had $40 in our purse. Oh man was that exciting! We’ll save $12 of it for parking (I owe dr. M. $6), $21 went in the gas tank, $1 went for a couple of turns of pop at work, and then the other $6 will feed my sweet roll fetish in the morning on the way to work. Pretty good, hmm? I still have to figure out paying for my medicine, because I’m going to need tomorrow the money for the two diabetes ones. I think I’m going downstairs to see if there is any chance that my new credit card came in, and then I just have to use that a little of that $77 in the bank … IF we figured it right. I hope so. I’m afraid that one of the payments went out twice and that will for sure mess me up because its $50. We’ll have to see … I’ll check now.
I don’t know two went to the hospital … I’m not sure if to the same account … can’t read the slip. Ahh, I think they went two different parts. It seems as if the $200 withdrawl went through, the electric bill, the cable bill, and a collection agency … the money I deposited last night hasn’t gone through yet, but is there as pending.
Pswhoo. Officially, it says I have $1875.72 in there, but I know that is because not all the bills have gone through … that will be car and rent, plus almost $600 for other various bills.
Hmm, ok, off that topic … it seems we’ve been roving, but I don’t know how we got there … Didn’t lose too much time … it’s 7:45 am. I know we were over at Debs journal and stopped by a couple places for her on that account. She usually writes out when people have been sick, hurting, or dying. It’s kind of a sad thing, but it’s nice she can do these special tributes to the people she knows and cares for.

Hmm, we’re in kind of a mixed place between thoughtful and eager to be movin on.
Not sure the direction though … except I know we go through these routines of catching things up in writing. I don’t think there is much to add about work.
Seems we’ve been sleeping in lately, and then catching up the short posts at work in the process of starting up. I’m not sure if I’m wasting or saving time. It seems I’m more directful though and that seems to help. I wonder if someone could do me a favor and go take some medicine? Hmm? I know, I know … we’re going.
Good good … did all the stop in washroom get cleaned up things AND we got dressed … well, not the shoes, but close enough. Fresh coffee and kittee. She’s a little frustrated because she was laying on the recliner and I went and opened the drapes.
That’s enough to get a kitty grumpy! We have to pet her a little to calm her down … so she says … they can be a little manipulative you know … I never like the part we’re getting whacked in the face … want proof, HMMM???
Yes, see … what does that look like to you. Owner abuse, right? One day I’ll get a lawyer and she’ll get what’s coming to her! Ok, been pettin Ms royal Beast! Time to get back to work here! She seems to understand. It was a pretty good pet! We were doing her tummy and face at the same time … Ohhhh she loves it! I was watching the side of her face how her eyes close so trustworthy-like and how her mouth turns upward in a smile. I think looking at her black features make my head awash in powerfully good feelings. She is just so gosh darn precious when we’re not cussing her out for that whacking bit. That’s no good still, but man-o-man can she take a good pet!
So, we’re about here … thinking we need to be moving on. Let’s see sipping our coffee. What comes next? Let’s see friend is taken care of, boys … hmm, maybe I would like to talk to them sometime over the weekend. Maybe even my son we don’t talk to so much … we’d have nothing in particular to talk about, but would like to catch up. Ok, dropped an IM with the youngest. The oldest isn’t signed on right now … and it seems my phone is dead … Forgot to tell that to our friend. Ok, just sent him a note. I don’t know if he’ll be on real soon, but I don’t want him to worry. Deb says its probably the battery … there’s a number to call to order a new one, but if the phone is dead … how do you call? I guess it is something that is going to have to happen after we get our credit card and after our friend is here to make the call. This is when a cell phone would come in handy. I guess we won’t be talking to the middle son … hard to do that without a phone.
Ok, let’s be moving on. Friend, boys, Dr. Marvin? Anything else there? I don’t think so … we did send him an email about the excitement for finding the $40 … Yep, yep this is the value of having a psychiatrist … they get excited with you. I like to think the good news brought a smile to his face too. Sometimes I think it’s a good idea not to burden someone so much. Good news is good.
Ok, next … Sister? Oh man I think we wrote that yesterday … what we’d left on her desk … I forgot to worry about that this morning. Chances are she’s already seen it by now and there is no going back. Ok, ok … that’s enough thinking about that!
Too much tension. Work? We went over that too. Hopefully on Tuesday we’ll start going over the section on Leadership. We’ll see how badly … ok, shhhhhh let’s not worry about that … she has a whole weekend to calm down OR get more excited … let’s hope for the best.

What else do we think of WITH the exception of school … that usually gets post-poned til last. Hmm, maybe check out to see if we got mail? That be good, right? Nope … nothing new over there … We’ll have to make the new stuff just happen. Not ready though, ok? Shhh, it’s going to be ok. What’s something we could lose ourselves with for a little bit? Hmm? What obvious things aren’t we thinking of that is affecting our life … Umm, Like diet and exercise?
ARGHHHH! Not that! Hmm, Cleaning??
*Whimpering*
Ok, that did it we’re a shriveling bag of marshmallows now. Ok, ok calm down … let’s just check in and revisit those thoughts, ok? Nothing major. Ok, as to cleaning … we have to come up with a way of getting $2 in quarters. I think we have $6 downstairs in the car. AND, we may have quarters saved up … why don’t we check.
Well, no. Just checked. Only thing that is in change is the smaller stuff … no quarters. Would mean then spending $2, which would leave $1 each for next week …
AHAH! No program on Thursday or Friday. That would mean I could get a sweet roll when getting quarters, which is $3 total, and then there’d be dollars for 2 days and one extra. WooHOOO! That might work. If I cashed in $1 of change to quarters, I’d have enough for a second load. That would mean about 2 ½ hours sitting downstairs.
I’d have to do it when nobody was using the machine. Hmm. This is going to be a challenge. BUT, it doesn’t have to be done today … Sunday, or Monday would be fine too, right? That would get in close for this week, plus a bag from before. I think that’s a good idea. I have to find the right book to take with me. I think the one we prefer is in the car for need to be reading in car emergencies. Don’t want to change that … Hold on let me take a look.
Hmm. Good … we have apparently two books on self-regulation. This particular one upstairs is a thick blue book written by one of the original authors. I’ll have to compare the two, but it looks like we started in this one, because there is some highlighting. Hmm, just thinking sister had a couple of chairs she was getting rid of. They would sit higher and allow us to use better the top of the dryer to sit our book. I wonder if we should reserve it. I’m not sure though whether it would fit in our closet. And, it be hard if we had to lift it up. Just be a much better chair down there. For certain it wouldn’t fit in the back of our wagon. Hmm, have to think about that some. I wonder if our building person would let us keep it down there. Maybe we’ll have to look again at our storage space. It is only a closet and there is already a basket, an air conditioner, and a cat storage box in there.
Plus a shelve up on top … almost absolutely sure it isn’t going to fit. We’ll wait 15 more minutes or so and then call. I don’t think it would be a bad thing in that other people could use it too, but they might think it in the way or a liability.
We’ll just have to wait and see. If he said yes, I could write an email to sister to reserve the chair. She has a note on a couple right now – in the hallway – saying please take. These are extra chairs from the workshop. Ok, ok … we’ve progressed those whole thoughts some.
Next. We need to do a little picking up here TODAY so that means especially both garbages out to the back area. They are both pretty full. Usually our friend takes them down by now, but we’re still on hold with all that. I could try to take them down myself when we go to get the quarters, but that will depend on whether I get the other chair or need to use a folding chair … that has better odds of fitting into the closet. Hmm, better remember to tell Mike that the dryer is taking two loads to dry anything. I think they have an obligation to do better there. People might use it more if it were more functional. I’ve heard sometimes they purposely do that to get you to feed in more quarters. But, I’m not going to be comfortable with that theory.
Everything else with household is pretty normal. I don’t know if we have enough dishes to start the dishwasher, but we’re still back to needing to do the regular picking up and worry over the floors. I think we’d come up with our independent resolutions that we were going to take all the time in the world to get it done, by ourselves. I am worrying though, because this morning I’ve found that just going between the chair to the kitchen is hurting my back. That be a problem. Usually, we have a few moments to work our way into it. This might be pretty close to where we need to start talking about the diet again. REALLY, REALLY not sure what to think about all that.
Ok, another cup of coffee. We have to work into that … First thing first … get on the scale again. Oh man oh man … 325.8 … we’re going in the wrong direction. We picked up 1.2 pounds. That’s not good. Those sweet rolls aren’t helping … it seems that about every 3 – 4 days, they add a pound to the weight. Not exactly, but close. I don’t know how to get past the pain. I also don’t know how to control our urges for food. It seems its been easier for us to stop at BK for dinner on the way home, rather than wait it out. We have zero tolerance for hunger, or whatever else it is causing us not to be patient and wait. And, then while we’re getting the BK … we make another stop for a shake. I know this is a good part of it. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to stop myself. Or, myselves. We’re thinking now though that maybe something we could try is to keep a food log of when we are eating and to the best of our ability the feelings or thoughts that go aside it. We need some way to track patterns of what we are doing. I’m wondering now what we did with that little book, we used to keep in the car. Something that size would be handy.
Because, we’d have to keep it with us home, work, or car. There’d have to be a rule that before we could eat anything, we would need to pause and write it down. This is our thought right now at least. If we’re just feeling hungry we’re going to need to cope somehow with that. I think right now we are feeling despair in that when we are giving up, or just want to pacify ourselves, we are eating. Just no tolerance for hunger or want built up. We’re going to have to take some first step and this one seems … at least a start. Let’s see where would that be? Or, Could we use the note cards? Hmm? That might be a good idea? We could put them in our camera bag, and they are already at home and work. Then we would just need to keep a pen in the purse … That’s a good idea anyway. Ok, good, let’s try that then. We took down one of our nifty mesh boxes we haven’t found a use for yet. Maybe, we should take the second one to work. Probably a good idea to keep the central information on the computer … maybe we could add it to the Blog as an update. That seems to be where we like to spend most time. It would help us stay accountable too. Ok, that’s good. It would then be like a chrononotes we took for clients or other. After a few gather up, we could post them to the formal record.
Pswhoo … ok, a plan. Hmm, I think we could use the 25 dividers that are alphabetical for the months. That way the system is in operation for two years. I like that idea. Maybe too, we could record coffee and water fill-ups. I’m thinking now about the Performance diet program. It would sure help if we could do that again where we are tracking information. OK, good. We’re starting to think again.
We recorded our food that we’ve eaten this morning. So far we’re up to 670 (37%) calories. Shoot that’s a lot … just crackers and cereal. It turns out the cereal is a good idea, but the crackers aren’t those were almost 400 calories per serving.
We’re going to need telling our friend to stop that … It’s better that we go back to fruits in the house. That might mean that we’re going to need reserve some fruit money. I know that we really liked just the grapes and grapefruit this last week.
It also states we’re like at 25 grams fat (57%), 83 grams carbs (18%), and 19 grams protein (20%). We’re really going to need focusing more on carbs and protein, and less on fat.
Ok, girls … now you are talking. Let’s see how we progress this. First, we need to write down the food before we eat it on the card, plus write down information that will help to understand why we are eating it, and then that information gets posted in the Performance Diet Program, and then that info gets posted in the blog. To make sure we get things written down … we’ll need a pen in our purse. Better set that up now while we’re thinking of it. BRB.
Ok, good that’s done. Our sweetie pie just answered back an email … which, wasn’t appreciated, because he had a chance to talk to me of the phone problem, and instead he just wrote this dumb comment about did I pay the bill. I told him I had paid all the bills. HMPF! We wrote him back with information on how to order the battery.
He will either do it and it will be on its way, or I’ll have to do it on Tuesday when I go back to work, IF the credit card is working yet and the bank statement is ok and if there’s enough money to pay the car and rent. Lots of ifs, otherwise … we just go without a phone for a while. Usually the only one we talk to is the boys or our friend. But, it is a nice thing to have in an emergency. We’ll have to see.
Ok, good. We’ve progressed the diet, and cleaning, hmm? Oh and picking up …vacuuming? Well, I guess if we could be doing that it would count for the time being as our exercise? Hmm? Be good to be more mobile. Let’s start now, then Ok?
Look around, what has to be done in the living room. Hmm, dirty clothes gathered, box of cereal to kitchen, blanket put away and garbage to kitchen and bag refilled.
That’s not so much, Hmm? And then we can talk about sweeping the corners under the table and then vacuuming, k? I know probably take us a while, but let’s go for it.
Ok, now shoo!
Ok, good, good. Everything is picked up and even the water bottles and pitcher filled. The bedrooms are both still ok as is the bathroom, I think the kitchen table is ok, but there are some dishes that need to be loaded in the dishwasher. We might start it, even if there aren’t enough dishes to fill it up, just so we can be staying on top of things. Should do it at least once a week so the food on dishes isn’t hanging around forever. So far, so good. Let’s set the timer for 15 min.
And during the next trip, we’ll just worry about sweeping the hard to get spaces, and I would like to get the kitty litter out. So, why don’t we focus just sweeping under the table, and then do the litter box. I’m not sure if we can do both in one up period, but a good idea to try.
AHA! It’s now 10 am exact. Seems like not much has happened, but when I look to the bottom of the page, we’re already 8 pages into the day. Yes there were a few pictured, but in general, we’re moving along. Maybe we need also to insert here that when we start to get hungry, we should be drinking a glass of water. How does that sound? Hmm? Fill up that tummy? C’mon … little smile?
Hmm, thinking maybe litter box first … that seems to be a more pressing first need.
Litter box, dishes, sweeping, vacuuming, and then mopping? Whooo wouldn’t that be the thing?! I think we’re really pressing our luck today, sure go ahead and order it from the menu, but let’s give ourselves a break and think maybe some happens tomorrow too? We’ll see. Let’s not get over excited. That’s a terrible amount on the back. I know … has to be done. But, we’ll see. Let’s keep everyone happy and congratulate yourselves for inserting ideas of being up and around over eating. I think that’s a great idea!
Ok, with 10 minutes on the clock … let’s think of what else has to be done. Maybe shoes and socks? Hmm, then no one gets toes out of place, hmm? Ok, ok … I can take a hint, let me go get them. Good, good … we put up our hair too. We don’t want it in the way while we’re moving, or to get us hotter than we already are. Only 5 minutes left. BREATH RELAX. Poor Missy knows that something is up. Maybe when we go downstairs, we should bring a chair and the kitty litter garbage. We’ll need our purse too, anything else? Ok, let’s plan to go somewhere different than the little store where the sweets are. Why don’t we do something drastic and get a roll of quarters from the bank? Hmm? Let’s see … we have $6 for extra and $13 for Dr. M’s parking. We could get a roll with the $10 parking money, then put away the $6 toward Dr. M direct, and then we would have … umm enough for 3 loads. That be a good idea. Or, we could do like 4 loads – 2 each time and then have to get from the bank, maybe another $20. Hmm, that’s an idea. We could just go to the bank and withdraw 2 rolls of quarters for $20, save the money for Dr. M., AND have $6 money.
I don’t know though whether we’d have enough for car and rent. That would however give us 10 loads of clean clothes and we have right now 7 loads waiting. Sure take care of that big problem. We’re talking about 10-12 hours downstairs washing clothes. Pswhoo … that seems like a lot of time. Maybe we are going to need going back to the idea of waking up like around 4 and putting in time to 7 am? Those are sleepy hours. I’m not sure if it would work, but let’s consider that, ok? I’m not sure where we stand today though. We couldn’t bring down a load when we go downstairs, because we need a chance to get litter out and the chair downstairs.
Plus, we’re not sure where the other apartment people are on washing clothes. Just know they probably don’t start at 4 am. We could cat nap down there too. Oh yah … we got to get a pen and our book down stairs, this first time as well. That will help us not think of the time as wasteful. Let’s see if we can get back as a goal down to 299, and then consider the gym. We still need to fit into the gym clothes.
AND, be able to move. SOO, maybe this means until then that on the days we aren’t cleaning or doing laundry we need to be trying out the treadmill for as long as we can. We had wanted to get a mirror or two, but that hasn’t worked out yet. Hmm, I wonder if we could get it for our birthday? 4 more months?

I got on the scale today and we are now working backwards. It said, 325.8. This is not a good thing. We have to do it where we are getting exercise and fruit ... NO MORE CRACKERS AND CHEESE. We love them PLUS the cookies, but every one of them is another 400 calories we don't need K???? FRUIT!
I need to shop at the fruit and vegetable store. I figure I have $13 saved for Dr. Marvin, and I'm going to the bank today and withdraw $20 in quarters ... that's 10 loads of laundry. So far we've got 7 loads to do. I figure we're going to take a book and chair and sit down there and do 2 loads - or 3 hours at a time. We just have to make sure we do the bathroom first. We'll need to go very early in the morning when we're sure its not being used. That means that if we don't use the extra $6 bucks we have for sweets ... we can put out $6 toward fruit and vegetables. We can do this, right? Us.

Ok, ok … girl slow down. Slow down. This is what happens everytime we go shopping. BUT, this was a part of the original plan. The one we’re still working from that began with my father’s and Sandy’s trust. We’re thinking all rooms have been accomplished. We’re still not sure on the laundry … our chicken little part is saying let’s just bring down the folding chair and make due. I don’t want to bother the landlord for something he could easily say no to because of safety keeping that area clean and de-cluttered. I would have preferred though leaning on a dryer and having that little extra cushion. But, on the other hand we can lean back with the folding chair. He might think that a chair in that area might invite trouble. He’s not going to want people smoking or talking or loitering … I don’t think with our back he can argue though of us sitting. Just seems such a long time away from computer. Can we don it? YEEKS !!! no questions we are just going to do it, right? That’s the deal?
Hey, what happened to the timer?? 11:41 and we’ve forgotten our chores? AND, it’s lunch … what are we going to do there. Oh yeah, oatmeal. Ok, why don’t we do this … How about you start the oatmeal, and I’ll do the kitty stuff, deal? Ok, good … line the garbage bag and we’ll be good to go! Shoo!
Good girls. We’re shaking though. Too much non-food and being up so long. Gotta get past it … work through it, k?
Ok, made up the card too … it’s ok cuz of the shakiness we took a few bites first.
We’re remembering we need water too. Ok, shhhh slow down.
Ahhh … that hit the spot. We’ve been skipping the oat meal thinking we needed something different, but we need to be back on that track. I think now the major part is getting oranges and grapefruits in the house. Might have to use the scale to see how many. Seems like we could have one of those each time we start to get food out of control. They are sweet enough that they seem to be good for an end level food. Maybe see if we could buy at least 3 graperuit and six oranges for $6.00. that be a good ratio to figure out … that $2 per grapefruit/2 oranges. I like the math … let’s see how close we get, hmm? Good. Ok, because we have floors coming up, lets not worry today about doing laundry, but lets plan on getting those quarters and the fruits. Anything else? Hmm, should stop by the pharmacy too and order the two low medicines. Ok, we’re good. Both still have two refill. Ok, it was a good thing to eat, why don’t we plan on getting out in just a short while. It is now officially noon. Funny how we are on the even numbers.
Let’s think now. Is there anything we need to do to get out? Let’s make a list.
Go to the washroom, write-out withdraw sheet for quarters, get folding chair out of the closet, pick up purse and keys, and kitty litter. Put chair in closet, throw litter out. Sit in car. Relax. Put purse on side seat, gather bad garbage. Stop by front of apartment, get out and get mail, sort through it, and place garbage to be thrown with other. Drive to pharmacy and place order, Drive to bank and get quarters, go to fruit store and pick up 6 oranges and 3 grapefruit, drive home, empty garbage, bring fruit and purse upstairs, and then sit in front of computer again – Have orange!!
Ok, can I just tell you for a moment how hard that seems? Big deep breath. Let’s read it over and try to remember it. Shoot there is a car alarm going off messing with my head. Shhh, it’s gone off now, let’s look again. It seems to make sense … just got to follow through. Oh yeah there’s that one other part. We need to pick-mail to check on the credit cards. Ok, remember it went ok when we stopped the car in the drive-way went to the boxes and got back in … Now will we have more energy on the way out or on the way in. Probably on way out … shoot, nother chore, but we gotta do it, remember? I know, ok go back and insert in. Shoot, that’s like now 5 things we gotta remember! Shhh, it will be ok. Just one thing at a time.
How about now … would you like to try? Sneaky putting in the washroom part :) Just think why don’t we have an orange treat when we get back? Hmm?? Wouldn’t that be nice? Ok, added it in.

This is a pretty terrific thing. We had to watch cars, so they don’t pull out in front of us, but the drive was very nice. We had our window down the whole time.
We had to go around twice though at the drug store, because the first time we forgot to ask how much our pills were. But, they were only $16 something and she said they can be picked up after 3 pm, but we might not do it until tomorrow. And, then on the way to the bank, we remembered we didn’t have $16 planned. So, when we got to the bank we wrote a new check for $40. Then the lady sent back the box and said we need your driver’s license, ok sure, then she sent the box back and said you need to sign on the back, and then we were thinking well, sure you think we can remember everything! Pshwoo. When we got to the fruit store which was only a couple blocks from the bank, we had trouble parking so again we had to go around and when we got done we left our cart out in the driveway area. We got to use the scales, but we still can’t figure out stuff good. It said 69 cents for Florida Oranges, so we weighed 6 oranges at about 4 pounds and rounded up so we though 2.80 > 3.00. Then we got 3 grapefruit and it said 69 cents a pound, so we weighed one and it was like almost a pound, so we though, fine $3.00. We knew we had some cents left and there was a really nice looking container of 10 plums for $2.30. So we thought, ok that will be pretty close. We had brought in an extra $2. But, then after she rung things up? It only cost $6.28. Now how do I keep messing up my math?
I don’t know … that place always confuses me, but usually for the better, so we’re going to stop complaining. But, still off by 25%?? Sheeesh.
We ate already a plum and an orange. We could eat every day $2.09 worth of fruit, which would be each day a grapefruit, two oranges, and three plums. Could we eat that much fruit? Better see how much that is AND write our cards. Wow! Do you know how good the fruit is in calories? Grapefruit is 82, Oranges are 62, and plums are 36. SOOOO, I could eat one grapefruit, two oranges, and three plums a day and that would be 22% better for us in calories as just one of the two sweet rolls. MAN-OH-MAN! We’ll call this our 6-Pack plan, and we’ll round up to $2.10 per 6-pk.
We’ll still have to get over that the sweet rolls were 2 for $1.00. They are still the cheaper. But, shoot, after like 10 minutes they’re all gone, but the other can last all day … Let’s think of a plan.
We know that we get a grapefruit after dinner that’s our favorite. Hmm, That’s easy then we have a 10 o’clock orange snack and a 2:30 orange snack, and then we can have plums either with each meal, or while waiting for a meal. AHA! Pretty good deal!
We still have to do the walking to get food and be able to budget umm, Yeeks that be a $15 week fruit budget. But at 310 a 6-pk seems like the deal! Ok, this would have to be it then … the diet. 314 calories fruit, 280 calories cereal, 700 calories frozen dinner, and 204 calories oatmeal. That comes to 1498. And for free, we should be able to have any kind of vegetable AND dip … that will keep under 300 though, so it has to be good dip. The salsa and dressing was good, much better than adding the spaghetti sauce. Anything under 1800 is gold. That be like a loss maybe of 3 pounds per week. That’s pretty high … cuz there will be exceptions, but I like them odds a lot. But, I would have to do exercising too! HUH??
You heard right … need to be moving … that’s what our friend said.
Ok, so I figured that wasn’t going to go over good. We’re in pretty big trouble with pounds you know. We should be planning at least a goal of 10 pounds per month. That would help a lot. Hey you wanna check the numbers? J fat 28 (14%), carbs 143 (72%), protein 29 (15%). Right now I’m hitting the numbers of a very low fat diet, but that be too hard. The goal is to be doing the diabetic like diet … and that’s 20%, 60%, and 20%. That’s probably what we should be shooting for. Hmm, that Woman’s Workout World Nutrition Plan expired. They want more money so we say boooo to them!
Hmm, went through our email … not too much there, people must be out having a good time. Where were we? Yeeks. About 3:30 pm. This is not going to be a school day I’m afraid. But, as far as the diet plans are going … its good with the exception that I just had a bad plum took a couple bites and it was soft inside. Yuck 2nd too. Drat. That interferes with our thinking. The first one was good. Might try to cut some up … shoot. Ok, ok … let’s not get down. One thing at a time. Poor people … new neighbors in the next apartment pulled in a U-haul and it starts raining on them. Maybe though just a sun shower.
We did the calculation on our friends dinner … it came up like 691.7 calories for a 2 cup serving of basically noodles, beef, and spaghetti sauce. This was 20.1 grams fat, 149.2 cholesterol, a day’s worth of salt, 272 mg potassium, 80.5 carbs, 12.1 dietary fiber, 48.6 protein, about 20 times the vitamin A I need, 30 mg of vitamin C, 190 mg of calcium, and 8 mg of iron. I added this into an ideal diet for the day with my cereal, oatmeal, and fruits, and I came in at 1489 calories, 27 (8%) fat, 243 (72%) carbs, and 68 (20%) protein. Pretty good, hmm? Can’t go wrong on more protein than fat I would figure. That’s enough of that for now. Hmm, my prescriptions are ready … maybe tomorrow have enough tonight, but not then. I’d have to get pretty obsessive to do the diet plan. And, we are going to need budgeting for our friend. He brings in dinner as he will. I don’t think the sandwich’s are bad, but pizza, ribs, and Chinese are probably not so good.
Ok, ok … what’s next. Hmm, it got darker and we never vacuumed should we fix that?
Pswhoo … ok … ok … that was rough, but we got some place. We vacuumed the first 1/3, but it was the area under the table. We swept first and then vacuumed. It looks pretty good. Just gotta rest now. It’ll be ok. Shhh, rest.
Pswhooo … pswhoo … ok, got some more … living room is done. We did some of it by sitting, and then some by standing. I want to bring the vacuum around to hall to the kitchen to see what it does there. Just gotta rest a minute, right?
Shoot, shoot. Hurtin. We just did most the kitchen area, but only half the dining room area. I have to go into the bedroom, I think. But after a break. It was easier on the floor without carpet than with obviously. That saved me some. Maybe if I could get the carpet in bedroom, don’t have to go the back bedroom? That would require moving the plug. Guessing our vacuum is pretty fulled up by now … it had been empty, but living room alone took it to ¾ full. Just 7 or 8 feet to do in the bedroom, then we’d have to see about emptying it. AND, we still need to think of cleaning/mopping the kitchen floor, maybe not by the dining area, but at least the direct square. It’s 4 pm now. I don’t know how our friend is going to do for time, because we don’t have the phone. It looks like about 48-60 minute trip from where he’s going … About 30 miles. Seems SW of here.
Ahh back is settling down that took about 10 minutes. Now 5 more for endurance.
Need to get a little spot over by the kitty place. That will just take 2 minutes, right? I want to get up and keep going it gets so frustrating needing all the breaks. We’re going to need repatterning this in our mind. It’s ok … it’s ok.
Just got to relax through it. We can take lots of breaks. Pswhoo. That one wasn’t quite as hard, but it wasn’t as much vacuuming. And, we sat down during the part of emptying the container and then re-vacuuming the spot. Just gotta get that little square now … only one or two more times up. And, then we are calling quits for the day. Looking really good! AHH one more thing. We’re going to Febreeze the place.
I don’t know how much good it will do, but beside vacuuming and cleaning litter, we’re thinking that’s the next best deal. Ahh yes and there’s still those few dishes in the kitchen need to be put away … dishwasher was empty … I just can’t see running a load. Maybe after the weekend. We’ll see. Not sure what the dinner plan is with our friend. I don’t think he’ll eat before he gets here. Not planning to eat without him, but will do that if we have to. Might want to plan a shower around 6 too … that’s in an hour and a half though.
Ok, now we’re going to need checking if the pad is clean or dirty … usually we throw them away, but I’m not sure if our friends been cleaning. We’ll have to see. Are we up for that yet? Hmm, are we going for the dishes or the floor … make sense to do the dishes first, don’t you think? What else though because we’re going to need a full up time for that floor. We could do dishes AND Febreeze, I think. Let’s try that. Ok, ready? Let’s go.
Ahh … Ok, I guess we’re done for the day. I did dishes, Febreezing, counter and checked the swiffer. I added the new pad, but unfortunately, the soap part is out.
Going to need a refill. Almost went all the way, but not quite. It’s shoes off time … relax!!!!!! Officially she’s 4:40 pm. Good deal!
Pshwoo. I think we earned our second orange. Then after our friend goes, we’ll have the grapefruit. Good girl!
Ahh, we’re doing good. We washed that grill that’s been on the corner of the kitchen counter and started a nice candle in the living room. Hehehe we turned on all the lights. Our friend likes that. First thing he does, is go around turning them all off. WooHooo absolutely finished. We even cleaned by the kitty area. Now it’s 5 pm. Might be a good time to check in with our buddy Deb? It has been a whole long day. Did a lot of good domestic stuff. Beside doing two loads of clothes tomorrow morning, I think we have it nailed! WooHOOO … Oh yeah, and we have to stop by for the medicine. I think we’re doing great! I see a lot of improvement in you girl! Just have to then work on the paper. There’s nothing else left to do.
Hmm, just got a nice picture from Deb, but it froze my AOL screen. We’re waiting for that to come unstuck. It’s hasn’t jammed the whole thing, but maybe the important part … we’ll give her five more minutes.
This is what we look at at the end of a successful day … AND, we’d like you to notice that the sun officially, is still up. I feel like all day, we’ve been cleaning, but part of it is to surprise our sweetie pie. We did the whole thing, or are doing, and beside needing to ask him for the Swiffer Spray, we’re doing it on our own. Plus fruit in the house! AND, a plan for those silly clothes, they don’t know I have $20 of quarters ready to wipe their butt! HA! Oh, clothes don’t have butts … towels? No, ok well I’m going to wipe something!
Ok, girls deep breath. It’s now about 6 pm. Our friend wrote to say he was having big family problems that he needs to attend. He suggested that we eat and take a nap and let him wake us up with a kiss. He said he’d definitely be here. He asked us not to be mad. So, I guess that’s what we’re going to do.
I prefer us best as the patient one. I know he’d be here sooner if he could. This gives us just a little more time. I think we need to turn some music on though … hold on. Ahh found some exciting mellow stuff. Hehehe eh, you gotta understand.
I don’t know how late my friend is talking about maybe 8-9-10? Not sure. Ok, let’s do the dinner first … then shower … then nap?
