Let's think of this as a Trickle of information
Yeeks! I almost forgot to start writing! Good morning. It’s already quarter to 6. We’ve been up almost 45 minutes, but were just looking at stuff. I think the computer is sneaky like that. It put’s on all kinds of stuff that doesn’t make any sense in the long run, but at the time seems like absolutely … you gotta look at it.I think I’m a latent grocery isle tabloid looker … I had to see both the ex-husband of the Octupletmom and the poor lady attacked by her chimp … there was a lot of other stuff but those are a couple stories we seem to be following. The common denominator was that the two women the one who went through fertility and the one raising a monkey seemed to have needs for being a mother to whomever. The chimp lady seems to have even taken baths with her monkey and they slept together, so I’m thinking she’s a bit perverted as well.
Maybe this isn’t the nicest thing to say to a woman, but I really feel for the lady that lost her eyelids, nose, lips, and hands. They are saying now that she may not ever fully recover and that she probably has brain damage. They are saying that she changed cars, hair and put a stuffed doll or animal in front of her face. But, just the same there was obviously all along the probability that the chimp would eventually get out of control on some stranger or another. The chimp was almost as big as us and obviously a hell of a lot stronger.
I’m not crazy about the octuplet mother either, because I think its crazy to think that you can take care of that many kids without physical, financial or emotional support. She doesn’t seem to have any of this. I think it was reported that some organization wanted to help, but she turned them down. She really needs help. I think she expected people were going to be a lot more supportive and probably be giving to her. The living situation as it stands is absurd. There’s only a three bedroom house … ok, like one bedroom for her parents, the woman sleeps on the living room couch and then the other two bedrooms might be split between male and female kids? Or would she have a bedroom and the 16 kids all share? Lordy there just isn’t enough room for all those kids. And, there’s absolutely no time to do anything including feeding and toileting all of them along with taking care of emotions. I could see her oldest the 7 year old was going to need chipping in, but that’s just way too young to take on the mother’s burdens. She needs round the clock assistance. No one would ever allow a day care to operate with this age mixture and quantity. It just be dangerous. And, the thing is is that the mother just doesn’t seem ready to face all this, at least not out loud. Surely she’s got to be wondering what’s going to happen?
Mmm… Just got back from taking shower, getting ready and a nice slow waking up of fishyman – that was nice! He got a nice massage, but he had to tell me that Bob was back in … I got nudged out this weekend. *Sigh*
So it looks like Bob and Rich are going south for the weekend for fishing. Rich is hoping that Bob can tell him something about the Hummingbird. That seems to be the big deal right now. Plus Rich has to get his trolling motor and cover. Those got wrecked up the first trip out. Poor fishyman. He’s talking about getting the boat closer to home than his mothers, but I think that’s a good place for it, maybe not for convenience, but it keeps his mom and Bud in the loop. I told Rich that Bud was like a 2nd mate. He seems to put some loving care into it when Rich isn’t there.
He’s a good guy.
So, maybe we can be hoping to get some time in with Thom … I’m not sure if that’s possible, but it would be worth a try. I haven’t talked to him all week to see what he’s been up to. I’m not sure if Rich is willing on Sunday to do something special again, but maybe we could have Thom come over again? That be kinda fun, though I also liked the deal where we were out driving with him and just had time to talk … it seemed better than when he got to the house. It seemed when he was here it was pretty close to dinner time, but we watched a little Xbox type TV in that it was from Japan and very competitive strange things like walking along a ledge with fingertips. Thom seemed to appreciate that we had his channels, so I felt glad for that. WooHOO!!!
I don’t think we’d gotten up to the point of saying anything about Thom’s visit, but it had been very nice. There was good dining room conversation and Thom seemed in a good mood. I think Rich appreciated that both Thom and Alexis seemed to like his dinner ok. I’m just thrilled to be hearing the sound of Thom’s voice.
Last night I was a card player’s widow. Hehehe - well that’s more likely the case to say that we were under the covers and napping soon into things. We had brought our computer to our comfy chair to respond to some things on MarineParents.com, but we fell asleep with the computer on our lap.
Ahh this be the way it goes then.
We updated ourselves as to the MP.com. We still have quite a few responses to post to. I’ll look forward to a few moments here or there when we can get to it. I’m really happy to be back at MP.com and I don’t want to mess that up again. I think it’s going to be important to be in touch with all AND besides Lynster signed on so we’re going to want to especially respond to her. It seems as if she and hers went to Hawaii to meet her son. He is now stationed there and will soon be shipping out. Wow … it’s just a bunch of things to go through, you know?
Ok, we’re going to stay optimistic. Probably should find some clothes and get on with the day though, Hmm?
