Just one more for the road
Good morning … just us. There’s only about a half hour before work. Coffee has started to kick in … and we’re pretty filled up with breakfast … cereal, bananas AND cherries! Wooo HOoo
I am happy to say we checked in on the surgery people Deb and T’s mother, Katheryn and they are both doing fine. Deb had a pinched nerve and is one handed typing and Katheryn had part of lung and a couple lymph nodes removed. We continue our prayers for each of them and Christina’s new wonderful family! God Blesses all around! V’s up and around too … he’s off now making other rounds, but let’s just squeeze in an extra God Bless while we’re here. And, Nikki we agree … he’s the bomb!
*Sigh* My world is good.
We had a nice day yesterday. The intern is back from vacation. YAYYYYYYYYYY!!! Together we got back into the annual schedule. We arranged the calendars to include observations, preference interviews, and goal-making with the staff and clients. I felt pretty good about the training and what was accomplished, but we’re thinking we still interrupt her too much. She had to do goals with our group I people … five of them … and there was staff training so she is pretty darn busy. She’s got that ability to be getting things done though, so we’re feeling pretty happy about it. Staff training we talked about observations … I liked the session
We’ve sent back and forth a few messages with another multiple we know and she let me know of meetings going on through the week, so we went to one yesterday … it wasn’t a very crowded meeting and of course, being us we blamed us for more people not stopping in because there was someone new in the room. There was only one other, and one other who dropped in on me and the first woman. The first woman said, she usually doesn’t talk too much and the other was working on something so had to leave in a short amount of time. BUT, then we did something we haven’t done for a very long time. We decided since we were over in AOL rooms that we’d see what was about. AND, in the process we found a room for survivors. It’s kind of strange, but there were a couple of people, one who we knew from back in our day of being in survivors rooms … pretty darn cool. The woman who seems to be on top is very nice, but doesn’t take too much from hecklers. And, she and a few others were very supportive of me being in the room. She says there are quite a few multiples that come through. That’s the way it used to be too. I’d like to go back to both soon.
Well that’s about it for now … I hope you all don’t think we’re crazy for doing all the videos. We decided we were going to try keeping it up … just we’d do it only for the school work, which by all common means might look pretty umm ok … list some negatives here … then let it go … we need to work hard on it’s ok to do these things that interest us even if it may seem overly self orientated.
Hehehe V. is soooo cool … he just sent us something in the email. He simply delights!
