Ok ... this is all according to plan :)

Good morning … It’s me and noisy Missy … she’s telling us now to go to the gym … HMPF darn time clock kitties! This won’t be a long note just enough to get a little morning coffee into us, shower, then out the door. We’re banking on the part where we don’t have to be at work until 8:30 this morning. Today is staff appreciation day so its like a very nice thing. There will be a little chapel service, then there will be a presentation most the morning, then sister is having a caterer come in. Staff is up in the air a little because it is more like meetings that appreciation. Usually we get to go to a teacher’s store and shop AND we get to go out to a nice restaurant. But, we’ll see how this one goes. I know sister is working around the speaker, so we can only hope she’s going to be good. It will take some effort to concentrate through a long meeting when I’m thinking I’d rather have had a drink or two at the restaurant. Hmpf! Pretty sure she’s not serving.

Big deal of the morning is that V’s BACK! He made it through his first surgery. And, he had enough energy to read all of our cards hehehe. He seems to be doing fine … you know typical V … Everything was … no big deal … yah right?!! This is a landmarker kind of life event that needs a little embellishing. You know surgeon’s name was Dr. Kildear, or knives were rusty, or they were so busy surgery done in hall … you know something like that. Well, I guess bottom line is that V’s ok … rumor has it V’s GIRL FRIEND called 3 times wooooooooooohooooooooooooooo!!! Oh, maybe I shouldn’t have said that. Bad me. Drat … Shoot. But, its important to say because maybe looking back at this post 10 years from now I’m going to remember that part.

Ok, now we’re being a bum … cuz we gotta get moving … We went to the gym orientation last night and we were ummm orientated! I had a hard time remembering the name, of the trainer, but he was a very nice person and very smart. He could remember a whole lotta stuff about how the body works and he was very impressive. He was a young Spanish speaking man and very conscientious about his work. There was only 3 of us in this training session and the other two were like females 20 and 27 no heavier than 140. Sheesh. Pretty skinny, but both out of shape. So he marked them in at the beginner’s level too.

The trainer was very good about my physical limitations. He brought a chair with us after we went out on the floor so I wouldn’t over exert, but he’s the kind of guy that is going to say … well, let’s try to get through things by pushing it some … *sigh* Seems very much like a gym. Not a whole lot of pampering in a place like this. I’m pretty sure though that I’m in the worst condition of anyone there. I was very happy when the trainer smiled at me and said that I was in the right place and doing the right thing. That made me feel a whollllllle ton better (no pun intended).

We’ll talk a little more about the machines after this visit … Bottom line was that there were a lot … He probably showed us how to do about 15-18. Like uh huh uh huh. Heheheh … Oh well, best not to complain at this stage of the game … we’re off to take our shower 

Weight this morning ?????
