Happy New YEAR!

Good morning,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! We’re going to make this a shorter post, because we want to spend a fair amount of time with our Master’s Work today. Yup, yup we’re going for it.
As to the New Year’s resolutions, we are committing ourselves to working with time this year. We want to better organize and mange not really it, but our responsibilities within it.
Good, good … just had a great hour. Well sorta. Didn’t finish the writing, because our friend signed on to chat. BUT, we did stop the chat when the alarm went of to do our brief spell of household work. We brought dishes out to the kitchen and emptied dishwasher. YAYYY!!!
Next task will be to load the dishwasher at 9:50. We pretty much talked of how we were each going to spend the day, and how we were doing with our first attempt at resolution. So far, so good. I’m not really clear on his resolution though, because yesterday it sounded like he was going to work on budget, and this morning it sounded like, I’m going to take an hour and read bass fishing magazine. Hmm… Ok, let’s focus on our goals instead hehehe.
I suppose to be fair, I should also step on the scale and record weight. I don’t think I’ve done this since Thanksgiving. But, first days are powerful. Hold on. Ok, ok we’re dealing with this … you all know we are pretty heavy, right? Well, today is 290.6. We surely can improve that. No more sweet stuff, or if there is some it will be in moderation. We ate about 5 am. So let’s make the next meal at noon, and we’ll have. Umm, yogurt and apple! I know not wonderful, but technically how we set up lunch time I am making an executive decision. The 22 pounds we’ve lost last year is getting 0’d out. So, the new goals are starting today at this weight and we’ll look for downward progress tomorrow am. Clear slate!
I think we’ll set the goal this year to be 100 pounds by this time next year. Officially, that is only 8.33 pounds a month. I think that’s a reasonable goal Maybe too, we’ll reset the clock each month so, we are looking at only the weight of 8.3 pounds. We evened her out. SO. The real goal then becomes .3 pounds a day? It’s good for a start. We’ll check her out within week or two. Maybe we can look forward to Bonus points. Hmm, seems there should be an award for bonus points. Let’s see if we weigh in each month at 8.4 or more, we get … ummm, don’t insert food goal here! We get … Hmm, I wonder if our sweetie would get us a ride in his car for at least 30-60 minutes. Hmm? We’ll have to check that out. I really miss our small adventure times. This way we can think about hmm finding a smoochable forest preserve! AHA!
Ok, now we have to confront that darn exercise treadmill. Maybe what we could do is give ourselves an alternative. Since we are giving ourselves increments of houselhold about 3.75 hours each week (which isn’t being done now) … well, the question is to we take out of that 70 minutes of exercise per week, or do we add another 70 minutes to the schedule. That’s just 10 minutes of treadmill a day. Doesn’t seem real bad, and we can break it in 5 minutes for a start so we’re not leaving it in significant pain each time.
*SIGH* Whoa. That was hard, but not impossible we went 5 minutes at a speed of 16 for a total of .18 miles at slight incline. It’s our starting point. Maybe we could add another minute each month. We’re not building up to super hero speed here. It’s just we can now be up for 7-8 minutes … maybe this will help us with our standing/walking endurance. I would be tickled to pieces if in a year’s time we could be up for 17 minutes. Woo HOO! That’s enough time to find seclusion in middle of forest preserve! Umm, well that’s Sweeties goal at least *giggle* He wants me climbing trees again!
Ok, that’s enough for now, maybe we can write again this evening after our school goals have been completed. Now until noon, we are going to review those 5 chapters. We can do this! YAYYYY!!!
All our love,
Us
AHA DEB!! Thanks for the reminder. YES! We did have fun. Our friend came over about noon and stayed until 4 pm. The laundry wasn't open earlier yesterday morning even after waiting 45 minutes, so he took us back and helped pick up the clean clothes. Then we went out to our favorite Chinese restaurante where we are the only customers hehehe ... great service had two servers actually. Each time I took a drink of water, they came back to fill me up hehehe... The company was great and the Governor's chicken wonderful. We got extra veggies, pork fried rice, eggrolls, tea, almond and fortune cookie! We had a nice conversation and started to introduce our goals for the new year. Afterward, we play like bunnies with one of the bunnies getting very nice back rubs! :)
We got to talk with Jane and T. afterward, pretend to watch the football game, and early to bed. For the record, we did wake up to the sounds of fireworks, but our next thoughts were how dreamy was our sleep! YAYYY How'd all you do?
